Over Your Dead Body trailer: Jason Segel and Samara Weaving plot to kill each other

A first trailer for Over Your Dead Body introduces a dark comedy thriller about a murderous married couple played by Jason Segel and Samara Weaving.

The dysfunctional duo retreat to a secluded cabin to try and repair their relationship, while both secretly planning to murder the other, leading to a bitter back-and-forth that they will be lucky to survive. Weaving says Segel has a devious plan to "sink her to the bottom of the lake," and Segel describes her accent as "like British crossed with the devil." Neither party is innocent; in one scene, Weaving's shotgun-laden character ties her husband to the kitchen table after thwarting his plot to knock her unconscious and tie her to a bag of rocks on a speedboat. In a more playful moment they are seen practicing their best "concerned partner" alibis.

The trailer offers a first look at what audiences can expect from the riotous action comedy, which director Jorma Taccone described as "funny, bloody [and] unexpected."
