A custom gaming PC that Blizzard built for Diablo 4’s Season of Blood giveaway, notable for being cooled with human blood, is still working two years after it was handed to its winner. The recipient, Twitch streamer Storms888, told Aftermath the machine remains in “virtually perfect” condition and has shown no drop in performance.

Storms888 said he hasn’t upgraded the system and intends to keep its original components intact for the novelty and technical reasons. He noted the CPU and GPU have custom water blocks mounted and added, “I don't want to change any aspect of it for the novelty factor — would love to give this to my future kids some day.” Questions remain about the coolant.

The streamer described a donor slip that confirmed a blood sample and said Blizzard provided a replacement vial that leaked. He believes the loop is mostly standard coolant with red blood cells mixed in, calling the mixture “dark red,” and said Blizzard did not specify ratios or any need to replace it.
