Ozzy Osbourne tribute at Grammys 2026 moves family as Post Malone, Slash perform
Post Malone, Slash and other artists gathered on the Grammys 2026 stage Sunday night to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, and the camera caught the rocker’s family — including widow Sharon and children Jack, Kelly and Aimee — fighting back tears. Malone, who had duetted with Ozzy on the 2019 hit 'Take What You Want,' led a raucous rendition of the Black Sabbath song 'War Pigs' on vocals while Slash jammed on guitar and Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith joined in.
Photos from Ozzy’s life were projected on the screen behind the performers. The camera frequently cut to Ozzy’s loved ones in the audience as the onstage tribute continued, and Sharon, Kelly and Jack Osbourne were seen visibly emotional during the performance. Sharon and Kelly were also pictured speaking with Lady Gaga on the Grammys red carpet before the ceremony.
Earlier in the day, Yungblud won the Grammy for best rock performance for his live cover of Ozzy’s 'Changes' and used his acceptance speech to remember the late rocker, saying he was grateful to have an idol who helped him 'figure out your identity' and adding, 'God bless rock music and god bless f–king Ozzy Osbourne.' Sharon joined Yungblud onstage during his speech, and he thanked Ozzy’s family for the opportunity.
Ozzy’s family announced his passing on July 22, 2025; he was 76.
