Paramount+ to End Mayor of Kingstown with Eight-Episode Season 5

Collider reports that Paramount+ has renewed the Jeremy Renner-led crime drama Mayor of Kingstown for a fifth and final season, coming after the show’s bloody Season 4 finale.

The fifth and final season will run for eight episodes, down from the 10-episode orders that defined Seasons 1 through 4. Renner is set to return as Mike McLusky, and recent cast addition Edie Falco — who joined the series in Season 4 as Kingstown’s new warden — is expected to remain a central figure as the story reaches its conclusion.
