Paul Pogba dropped from Monaco's Champions League squad ahead of PSG tie
Paul Pogba has been removed from Monaco's Champions League squad ahead of their two-legged knockout play-off with Paris Saint-Germain. He had been included in the European roster for the first half of the season while working on a return to fitness but will sit out the tie.
Pogba has made three appearances this season, totalling 30 minutes, all in Ligue 1, and was an unused substitute in Monaco's Champions League group matches against Pafos and Galatasaray. Monaco have also removed Mohammed Salisu and Takumi Minamino from the squad; Krepin Diatta, Wout Faes and Simon Adingra were drafted in.
When asked about Pogba's availability, Monaco general manager Thiago Scuro said: "The entire medical department is focused on finding solutions. There's no clear answer to that question. We still need to develop the process to clarify the situation.
