Paul Simon to headline 10th annual Love Rocks NYC concert

Paul Simon, 84, will headline the 10th annual "Love Rocks NYC" concert at the Beacon Theater on Thursday, March 5. He had said in 2023 that it had become extremely unlikely he would perform live after losing most of the hearing in his left ear, but last year his hearing unexpectedly improved with help from Stanford researchers and he plans to tour this summer.

The all-star lineup includes Elvis Costello, Mary J. Blige, Linda Perry, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Susanna Hoffs and Trombone Shorty. Celebrity announcers include Jeff Ross, Julianne Moore and JB Smoove. Founded by Greg Williamson, Nicole Rechter and John Varvatos, Love Rocks NYC raises money for God’s Love We Deliver, which makes and delivers medically tailored meals to New Yorkers who are too sick to shop and cook for themselves.

Last year staff and thousands of volunteers cooked, packaged and delivered 4 million meals to 15,000 New Yorkers. God’s Love We Deliver pre-sale tickets go live this Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. ET, and public tickets go live on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
