Peter Claffey Clarifies Henry Cavill Rumor for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

A clip from a filmed interview at New York Comic Con, showing Peter Claffey and his young co-star Dex Sol Ansell, sparked online speculation that Henry Cavill might appear in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. In the clip Claffey checked whether certain aspects of the show could be discussed and compared Ser Dunk to Cavill’s The Witcher character.

Mid-conversation Ansell asked, "Can we say that Henry Cavill is…" and Claffey quickly cut in, "No, no, God don't say that. Sorry, you didn't hear that." Some viewers treated that moment as a spoiler reveal. Claffey later posted on Instagram to clear up the misunderstanding, writing: "Just to clarify, the thing Dex was referring to in the interview had nothing to do with Henry Cavill coming into the show or the GoT universe (I wish!).
