Pluribus Climbs Apple TV Charts After Season 2 Update — Collider

Vince Gilligan’s sci-fi series Pluribus has climbed back into Apple TV’s Top 5 streaming chart, moving up one spot and displacing Severance, with the gain reflected in FlixPatrol’s rankings.

The series still sits behind several high-profile Apple TV titles, including Hijack, Ted Lasso, Tehran and Shrinking.

The resurgence followed a Season 2 update at Apple TV’s recent press day, where Gilligan confirmed a second season is in the works but warned it won’t return on an annual cycle, explaining the writing process takes time. He said, “We are plugging away, my writers and I, plugging away... it takes a long time to come up with these episodes... we appreciate everybody's patience, but it ain't going to be The Pitt coming back every year... We'll come back maybe the same month. It's just a question of what year. So thank you for your patience.”

Pluribus Season 1 is currently streaming on Apple TV.
