Pokémon Super Bowl ad features Lady Gaga and Jigglypuff duet

Pokémon's 30th anniversary kicked off during the Super Bowl with a star-studded commercial that pairs Lady Gaga and Jigglypuff for a duet. Other celebrities also appear, including Trevor Noah, Blackpink singer Jisoo and Never Have I Ever actor Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, each talking about their favorite Pokémon.

The spot launches a yearlong "What's Your Favorite?" campaign. After the duet — Jigglypuff being Gaga's favorite — the cast named theirs: Trevor Noah (Psyduck), Jisoo (Eevee), Lamine Yamal (Zygarde), Charles Leclerc (Arcanine), Young Miko (Gengar) and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Luxray).

Pokémon Day falls on Feb. 27, and the company has lined up other 2026 plans, including Pokémon Lego sets later this month and the life-sim Pokémon Pokopia arriving in March. Additional announcements, such as a release date for Pokémon Champions, are likely to follow as the year continues.
