Prime Video's Steal Is an 80% RT Heist Thriller That's Hard to Stop — Collider

Prime Video's new series Steal is a six-episode heist thriller that swaps bank vaults for millions in cryptocurrency and currently holds an 80% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The show moves briskly, piling on twists that keep the story tense from start to finish, and serves as another strong post-Game of Thrones showcase for Sophie Turner.

The plot opens with Zara (Turner) arriving for a shift at investment firm Lochmill Capital, hungover, only for thieves to make off with 4 billion pounds. Investigators DCI Rhys Covac (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) and Darren Yoshida (Andrew Koji) dig into the case while Zara and her colleague Luke (Archie Madekwe) try to carry on.

Early revelations make clear Zara and Luke were part of an inside job, and secrets abound — from Rhys’s gambling debts to an MI-5 interest — with a budding romance between Rhys and Zara further complicating matters. Creator S.A.
