Prime Video unveils first images for pirate thriller The Bluff starring Karl Urban

Prime Video has released first images for The Bluff, a bloody, 19th-century Caribbean pirate thriller starring Karl Urban and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Movieweb reports.

Courtesy of Esquire, the images show Chopra Jonas as Ercell Bodden, a former pirate nicknamed "Bloody Mary" who left her crew and fled to a "peaceful" island in the Caymans. Now a mother and wife, Ercell is forced to use the violent skills of her past to defend her home from lawless pirates led by Urban's Captain Connor, with the images suggesting Connor's pursuit for vengeance will set the island ablaze.

The Bluff was directed by Frank E. Flowers from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Ballerini and was produced by Anthony and Joe Russo for AGBO. The cast also includes Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green and Vedanten Naidoo. The film is set to premiere on Prime Video on February 25; more to come.
