Cbssports columnist Prisco offered picks for the NFL divisional round, forecasting Buffalo over Denver, Seattle over San Francisco, New England over Houston and Los Angeles over Chicago. He framed Buffalo's game as Josh Allen versus a “special” Denver defense but said good quarterback play has had success against it; Prisco noted the Bills' run-defense issues and questioned whether Bo Nix can make the plays, while adding, "I think in the end, Allen will make the plays" (he picked Bills 23, Broncos 21).

On the NFC West game he pointed to 49ers injuries — including losing George Kittle — and the regular-season finale Seattle win, saying Trent Williams' absence in that earlier meeting mattered and predicting the Seahawks to advance (Seahawks 24, 49ers 20). He called the Patriots-Texans matchup a defensive battle, said C.J.

Stroud struggled against the Steelers and suggested Drake Maye has the advantage, projecting a Patriots win (Patriots 23, Texans 17). For Rams-Bears, Prisco cited issues in both secondaries and the Bears' weak pass rush, predicting Matthew Stafford will have a big day and the Rams to prevail in a shootout (Rams 33, Bears 27).
