Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained has emerged as the top feature on Hulu’s streaming charts, with FlixPatrol listing it above other films. The movie holds an 87% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 92% audience rating. Set two years before the Civil War, the story follows Django (Jamie Foxx) as he joins German bounty hunter Dr.

King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) to capture the Brittle brothers; after Schultz frees Django they hunt the South’s most-wanted criminals and travel to the plantation where Django’s wife remains enslaved. The film has drawn praise for its cinematography, screenplay and performances from Foxx, Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio, and its supporting cast includes Kerry Washington, Samuel L.

Jackson, Walton Goggins, Dennis Christopher, James Remar, Michael Parks and Don Johnson. Django Unchained stirred controversy for the frequent use of racial slurs by DiCaprio’s character and for its graphic depiction of slavery, though many viewers who accept the film’s harsh language and violence count it among Tarantino’s best.
