Rams visit Bears in NFC Divisional Round; Rams 3.5-point favorites
Cbssports reports the fifth-seeded Los Angeles Rams will visit the No. 2 Chicago Bears in the NFC Divisional Round at 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday at Soldier Field.
Los Angeles has struggled in Chicago, winning 14 of 37 regular-season games there (14-31-2) and losing its only playoff game at Soldier Field, a 24-0 defeat in the 1985 NFC Championship Game in which the Rams had 130 total yards. The Rams lost their last four contests in Chicago, including a 24-18 setback last season, and edged the Carolina Panthers 34-31 in the Wild Card Round on Matthew Stafford's 19-yard TD to Colby Parkinson with 38 seconds remaining. DraftKings lists the Rams as 3.5-point favorites with an over/under of 48.5; the opening spread was -3.5 and the line has not moved, and DraftKings gives Los Angeles +320 odds to win Super Bowl LX (behind Seattle at +270).
Chicago won the NFC North and rallied from an 18-point halftime deficit to beat Green Bay 31-27 in the Wild Card Round. Caleb Williams finished that game with 361 passing yards and two TDs after two early interceptions and can match the franchise record of seven consecutive multi-TD games. Stafford can match Aaron Rodgers' league record by throwing at least two TD passes in his ninth straight playoff game. A listed prop pick is Puka Nacua anytime TD scorer (-125); Nacua scored in nine regular-season games, had a receiving and a rushing TD against Carolina, and has eight TDs in his last six outings.
