Razer unveils $500 Huntsman Signature Edition keyboard

Razer has announced the Huntsman Signature Edition, with preorders now open and an official arrival date of February 22. The company calls the model "a statement of precision engineering and master craftsmanship—our most uncompromising keyboard ever built." On paper, the Signature Edition shares core specs with the Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz but carries a $500 price tag, roughly double the V3 Pro's $250.

Razer highlights luxury materials: a 6063 aluminium alloy top chassis, a PVD mirror‑polished 6063 aluminium alloy bottom chassis and accent bar, a vegan leather signature box, and included swappable keycaps. The board includes rapid trigger technology but omits Hall effect switches and some other premium features.

That stands out given Hall effect switches have appeared in much cheaper kits like the $40 Gamakay X Naughshark NS68, and solid aluminium builds turn up in keyboards such as the $100 Ducky Zero 6108.
