Real Madrid among clubs tracking Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton
Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is attracting transfer interest from several top clubs, with Real Madrid and Liverpool said to be among the suitors. Reports say Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle are also in the queue for the player.
The Guardian describes Palace’s “Everything Must Go” sign as continuing to draw attention, with Liverpool reportedly circling and Real Madrid named alongside other Premier League contenders. Palace are said to be open to selling Wharton at the end of the season, and have placed a starting price of £65m on the midfielder.
It is not yet known which club, if any, will meet Palace’s valuation or make a formal offer; discussions and interest are reported to be ongoing as the season progresses.
