Real Madrid fear Jude Bellingham could be out for up to two months — Goal

Real Madrid have been hit by a worrying development after Jude Bellingham's hamstring problem appears worse than first thought. The England midfielder limped off within the first 10 minutes of the derby with Rayo Vallecano after a driving run toward the byline, pulling up with a sharp pain at the back of his thigh.

He grabbed his hamstring, collapsed to the turf and was substituted, later seen covering his face with his shirt on the sidelines. Initial medical estimates suggested a one-month layoff. Club tests identified damage to the semitendinosus muscle in his left leg.

Spanish journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon says the club now fears the recovery window could extend to around two months. The semitendinosus is key for explosive movement, and Madrid’s medical staff are being cautious about preventing a recurrence; a two-month absence would keep Bellingham out until mid-April.
