Reba McEntire’s vintage Team USA polo resurfaces ahead of 2026 Winter Olympics
Reba McEntire shared a social photo in August 2016 of herself wearing an official Team USA polo — a throwback the outlet says suggests she’ll be cheering for Team USA at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
In the image, McEntire — then a coach on The Voice and now the star of Happy’s Place — wore a blue polo with red-and-white trim; her signature red hair and a double thumbs-up completed the patriotic look. She captioned the post, "Proudly sporting my official @Olympics polo!," said she was "loving" NBC’s coverage and added the hashtag "GoTeamUSA."
Nearly 10 years on, the photo serves as a reminder of the 70-year-old singer’s timelessness, the outlet notes, pointing to other iconic Reba moments like posing on a barrel horse as a kid or changing up her signature red locks.
NBC and Peacock will deliver around-the-clock coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Northern Italy. The Opening Ceremony is on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, with NBC and Peacock’s coverage beginning at 2 p.m. ET and primetime coverage at 8 p.m. ET hosted by TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie and NBC Sports’ Terry Gannon.
Viewers can also expect musical performances by Mariah Carey and Andrea Bocelli and on-air contributions from official Olympic correspondents Shaun White and Snoop Dogg during the telecast.
The outlet does not say whether McEntire will appear in coverage or attend the Games.
