Richard Keys says he is not retiring as he and Andy Gray leave beIN Sports
Richard Keys has spoken for the first time since it emerged that he and long-time partner Andy Gray will leave beIN Sports after 13 years. The pair will depart in May, and Keys, 68, has made clear that a return to the UK does not mean he plans to retire. beIN is preparing a significant transition as its primary Premier League anchors vacate their seats at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
The decision was reached through a mutual agreement with the broadcaster and the duo are expected to leave on excellent terms after shaping the network’s English coverage since 2013. The move completes a long career arc that began with their exit from Sky Sports after the 2011 controversy and a subsequent relocation to Qatar, where they rebuilt their brand and became a leading source of analysis across the Middle East and North Africa.
Their chemistry and experience helped make beIN a global presence in football broadcasting.
