Rob Riggle will appear as the Guac Guru for Avocadoes from Mexico during Super Bowl LX on NBC and Peacock on Sunday, February 8, NBC Insider reports. Riggle will make three bold in-game predictions, and if he gets them all right one fan will win $60,000 plus free avocados for a year.

NBC Insider notes Riggle earned a reputation for football prognostication during his time on Fox NFL Sunday, and he told the outlet he predicted the Kansas City Chiefs every week, even when the team went 2-14. The piece recounts Riggle's background: he served 23 years in the Marine Corps, earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and left active service in 2013 before pursuing entertainment.

NBC Insider also reports he studied at Upright Citizens Brigade under Amy Poehler, which helped lead to his role on Saturday Night Live, and that his memoir is titled Grit, Spit, and Never Quit: A Marine's Guide to Comedy and Life. Born in Kentucky and raised near Kansas City, Riggle remains a diehard Chiefs fan.

NBC Insider reports the team went 6-11 in the 2025-26 season and that Patrick Mahomes suffered ACL and LCL tears in Kansas City’s playoff loss to the Los Angeles Chargers; Riggle told the outlet he is grateful for past success and said coach Andy Reid should have as much time as he wants to regroup.
