Roku wired video doorbell and chime on sale for $50

Kotaku reports the Roku Smart Home Wired Video Doorbell & Chime is on sale at Amazon for $50, down from its regular $70 price.

The hardwired doorbell records 1080p HD video and uses an ultrawide-angle lens with a 180° horizontal field of view, plus night vision, motion and sound detection, and two-way audio. Notifications can be sent to mobile devices, tablets and compatible Roku devices, and users can view a live feed or review past events via the Roku Smart Home app.

The package includes a plug-in chime with 20 selectable sounds, an IP65 rating with corner and flat mounting plates, a complete hardware kit and guided setup through the Roku Smart Home app. The current price represents a $20 (28%) saving off the typical $70 retail price.
