Rosamund Pike in ‘Inter Alia’ and More Theater to Stream
Rosamund Pike stars in Inter Alia, streaming from the National Theater at Home starting Feb. 24. Written by Suzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, the play follows a high-powered London judge whose feminist politics collide with her maternal instincts when her teenage son is accused of sexual assault.
A critic called Pike “vibrantly engaging” with a “commanding stage presence.” Leo McGann’s thriller The Honey Trap, directed by Matt Torney at the Irish Repertory Theater, unfolds in flashbacks as a survivor is haunted by a decades-old killing; it is available to stream through Feb.
28. Crooked Cross, adapted from Sally Carson’s 1934 novel and staged by the Mint Theater Company at Theater Row, examines how ordinary people are drawn into the rise of Fascism; that production is free to stream, or available for a suggested donation, through Feb.
