Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman stunned as Wrexham draw Chelsea
Wrexham were paired with Premier League giants Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round, a draw that left club co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman stunned. The Welsh club have reached the fifth round for the first time since 1997 and will host the tie at the Stok Cae Ras for a place in the quarter-finals.
The two Marvel stars, best known for playing Deadpool and Wolverine respectively, may well be in attendance. Jackman was first to spot Wrexham come out of the pot, and Reynolds reacted on Twitter with a single line: "Holy crap." In the video, his reaction is rather fruitier.
Wrexham have enjoyed back-to-back-to-back promotions and are targeting the Premier League. The Championship side sit eighth in the table, one point behind sixth-placed Derby County in the final play-off spot. Manager Phil Parkinson said: "Listen, is the structure of this club behind the scenes ready for the Premier League and would there be an immense amount of work to take place [if we get there]?
