Samsung Unpacked 2026: S26 Ultra, Buds 4 Pro and One UI 8.5
Samsung is expected to hold an early Unpacked event in February 2026 rather than January, with a rumored launch of the Galaxy S26 Ultra just ahead of Mobile World Congress. South Korean outlets have suggested a Feb. 25 event in San Francisco, a timeline corroborated by Evan Blass, which would push in-store availability into early March.
The S26 family is tipped to include a standard S26, a Plus (or possibly an Edge variant), and the Ultra. Early chatter that a "Pro" would replace the base model has since been reversed, and the lower-end S26 may get a larger 6.3-inch screen, a 4,300mAh battery, 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
Other rumors suggest Samsung might swap the Plus name for a slim S26 Edge, with a 6.7-inch panel, a 4,200mAh battery and a notably thin 5.5mm profile. Leaked renders point to subtle design changes for the S26 Ultra: curvier corners, a raised vertical camera bump, a 7.9mm thickness and an M14 OLED display.
