Jane Austen fans can stream Sanditon for free on PBS.org and the PBS app beginning Valentine’s Day. All three seasons will be available from February 14 through March 14, 2026. The series was adapted by Emmy and BAFTA-winning screenwriter Andrew Davies from Austen’s unfinished 1817 novel, originally titled The Brothers.

It follows Charlotte Heywood as she relocates to the quiet fishing village of Sanditon and meets Sidney Parker, who hopes to transform the seaside town into a luxury resort. Sanditon aired on ITV in the U.K. from August 25, 2019, to April 24, 2023, and premiered in the U.S.

on PBS on January 12, 2020, with subsequent seasons debuting March 20, 2022, and March 19, 2023. Rose Williams and Theo James lead the cast, joined by Kate Ashfield, Crystal Clarke, Turlough Convery, Jack Fox, Kris Marshall and Anne Reid. Theo James left the series after Season 1, alongside Mark Stanley and Leo Suter.
