Savannah Guthrie Addresses Missing Mom's Possible Abductor in Emotional Video
Nbc reports that on February 4, amidst alleged ransom notes linked to her mother Nancy's disappearance, TODAY's Savannah Guthrie addressed her mother, her possible abductor and the public in an Instagram video. Seated alongside her siblings Annie and Camron, the family read prepared statements thanking supporters.
Savannah described Nancy as "a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely-loving woman of goodness and light," saying she is funny, spunky, clever and adored by her grandchildren. Savannah pleaded that Nancy is 84, with fragile health and living in constant pain without medicine, and she directly appealed to the possible abductor: "We need to know, without a doubt, that she is alive and that you have her.
We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us." She said the family has heard reports about a ransom letter and is doing everything they can.
