Savannah Guthrie took to social media again on Saturday with an emotional plea for her mother Nancy Guthrie’s alleged captors. “We received your message and we understand,” the “Today” anchor said alongside her brother Camron and sister Annie. “We beg you now to return our mother to us, so that we can celebrate with her,” she added. “This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on Saturday evening and was reported missing after failing to show up at church on Sunday. The last known person to see her was Annie’s husband, Tommaso Cioni, who dropped her off at her home. On Monday, police said the home of the Guthrie matriarch was being treated as a crime scene. Authorities believe she “taken from the home against her will.”
