Savannah Guthrie's mother Nancy reported missing in Tucson
Nancy Guthrie, 84, the mother of Today host Savannah Guthrie, has been missing since Sunday. Authorities in Tucson said they believe she was taken from her home against her will; her family reported her missing around noon Sunday after not finding her on the property, and she was last seen the evening of January 31 when family dropped her off.
The Pima County Sheriffs Office said the home was equipped with several cameras and detectives are working with the family and camera companies to review available footage. Authorities said her cell phone and car were left at the home, and the family told investigators she requires vital medications every 24 hours and has limited mobility.
The FBI is involved in the investigation and officials said they are downloading and analyzing phones and cell tower information and conducting interviews.
