Savannah Guthrie speaks after vocal cord surgery, sets return to TODAY
Nbc reports that Savannah Guthrie surprised her TODAY colleagues during the January 20 episode by speaking publicly for the first time since undergoing vocal cord surgery.
The 54-year-old has been absent from co-anchor duties, on strict vocal rest and using a whiteboard to communicate after doctors told her not to speak.
