School Spirits Season 3 debuts on Paramount+ Top 10 at No. 3 in U.S., No. 7 globally
Paramount+’s School Spirits returned to the streaming charts after its January 28 Season 3 debut, landing at No. 3 on the U.S. Paramount+ top ten and No. 7 globally, Collider reports.
The series arrived with three opening episodes. After two critically acclaimed seasons, with Season 2 receiving a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, fans who were left on a cliffhanger and were told Season 3 would be "a lot more scary" at Sundance 2026 got new episodes on Wednesday.
At the time of writing, School Spirits sits third in the U.S., behind second-placed South Park and current chart-topper Taylor Sheridan's Landman, according to Collider.
Critics have responded positively: Jasneet Singh for Collider awarded Season 3 an 8/10, praising a seamless tonal shift, Peyton List’s lead performance and what Singh called "confident and clear" storytelling, and noting the show’s move into more overt horror is "working in the show's favor."
Season 3 continues on February 4, 2026, with the Zach Dodes-penned fourth episode, "The Bereftest Club." Collider also includes the series synopsis: "Maddie is a teen girl stuck in the afterlife investigating her own mysterious disappearance; she goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to school in the afterlife, but the closer she gets to the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers."
