Seahawks vs. Patriots Set for Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium
Nbc reports the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will meet in Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 8.
The Patriots advanced with a 10-7 victory over the Denver Broncos in a game played largely in a whiteout blizzard; the Broncos were using backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham after Bo Nix suffered a season-ending ankle injury the prior week. In the NFC Championship, the Seahawks held off the Los Angeles Rams 31-27 in a late shootout, with Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold and Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford each throwing three touchdowns.
The Seahawks are led by Darnold, who threw 25 touchdowns during the regular season, with Kenneth Walker rushing for 1,000 yards and receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba finishing the regular season with more than 1,700 yards and 10 touchdowns. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye threw 31 touchdowns; Treveyon Henderson rushed for over 900 yards, and Stefon Diggs recorded a 1,000-yard season. The Super Bowl will be shown live exclusively on Peacock and the network, and coverage will include Green Day’s opening concert and Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
