Sean Bean’s Robin Hood series hits No. 1 on MGM+ Amazon hub
Collider reports Sean Bean’s gritty new take on the Robin Hood legend has climbed to No. 1 in the United States on MGM+’s Amazon Channels hub following the conclusion of Season 1. The first episode premiered in November and the season wrapped with 10 episodes just ahead of the start of 2026.
According to FlixPatrol’s daily charting, the series has ranked at the top every day since January 1, a rare week-long lock; that consistency suggests viewers are finishing episodes and pulling new people in. The show is set after the Norman invasion and pairs Robin Hood (Jack Patten), the son of a Saxon forester (Tom Mison), with Marian (Lauren McQueen), the daughter of a Norman lord, making their romance a tactical alliance as Rob rises as the face of a rebel outlaw band and Marian infiltrates court power to expose corruption.
Sean Bean anchors the ensemble and the series currently holds roughly equal marks from critics and audiences — a 77% critic score and 80% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Robin Hood’s streaming footprint extends beyond the U.S.: on MGM+ in the U.K. it stayed near the top all week, running at No.
