Sesko brace salvages 2-2 draw for Manchester United at Burnley
Goal reports Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Burnley at Turf Moor in their first game since sacking Ruben Amorim, with Benjamin Sesko scoring twice in the second half.
United fell behind to an Ayden Heaven own goal in the 13th minute and struggled to stretch Burnley early, the report said, with Sesko often losing the ball in the first half. Interim coach Darren Fletcher made only one change from Amorim's last team, restoring Bruno Fernandes and switching to a back four with Fernandes playing further forward. United levelled five minutes into the second half from a Fernandes pass, Sesko then put them ahead from a Patrick Dorgu cross, but Jaidon Anthony struck back six minutes later after careless defending from Lisandro Martinez.
It was United's third draw in a row against teams fighting relegation. The outlet provided player ratings, giving Fernandes 7/10, Sesko 7/10 and Fletcher 6/10, and noted Fernandes was taken off to manage his minutes; substitute Shea Lacey came close with a curling effort that rattled the bar.
