Set Video Reveals Dave Bautista as The Kurgan in Highlander Reboot

Filming is underway on Henry Cavill's Highlander reboot, and a new set video offers a first look at Dave Bautista as The Kurgan, sporting a full head of hair alongside Cavill's Connor MacLeod. Chad Stahelski is directing, and the cast also includes Jeremy Irons, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Marisa Abela and Max Zhang.

The footage follows recent images of Cavill filming in London with Irons and riding a motorcycle. Bautista's Kurgan appears a little less monstrous than Clancy Brown's 1987 portrayal, though the character's true tone will likely be clearer when official footage arrives in a trailer later in the year.

Bautista, who recently starred with Jason Momoa in Prime Video's The Wrecking Crew, has praised Cavill's work ethic, saying: "Henry is easily one of the hardest-working actors I've ever worked with in my life. It's because I've seen him train. I say that coming from 20 years of professional wrestling.
