Seth Rogen says The Studio Season 2 will begin shooting 'in a week'
Movieweb reports that Seth Rogen, original co-creator, writer and star of the Apple TV series The Studio, said Season 2 begins shooting "in a week." Rogen said the writers have "literally written some things that happened leading up to this award show into episodes as we've been writing the show," and added that "several things have happened, both today and leading up to this event that we have written directly into the show, and you'll probably know what they are when you see them." He described the Golden Globes night as surreal—"This is so weird!
We just pretended to do this. And now it is happening!"—and said several figures approached him during the ceremony asking for short appearances: "A lot of people literally just come up to us and were like, 'Put me on your show. I'll do anything. I'll walk by!'" He also referenced Netflix head Ted Sarandos's cameo in the first season and said, "Ted kind of ruined it for everyone.
But yeah, there's a few people we roped in tonight. This is good poaching ground for us." The Studio previously began receiving awards attention in 2025, winning multiple Emmys including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, with Rogen also credited for Directing and Writing wins alongside collaborators.
