Seven CES 2026 products ZDNET's Kerry Wan would buy
ZDNET writer Kerry Wan highlighted seven products seen at CES 2026 that they said they would buy as soon as the items go on sale. Wan singled out the Clicks Communicator, a dedicated messaging handset with a clean operating system, a notification LED, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a MicroSD card slot.
Ikea's colorful Kallsup smart speakers also drew notice: they cost $10, can sync with up to 100 units for synchronized playback and — according to Ikea — last about eight and a half hours at 50% volume; Ikea expects to go on sale in April. The Samsung S95H OLED was praised for glare-free display technology that reportedly preserves brightness, color and contrast while reducing reflections, and for flexible I/O via an optional Wireless One Connect Box.
In a private showcase, Samsung Display demonstrated a foldable panel that appeared creaseless — Wan said they felt no dip or bump at the fold and saw no distracting glare — and suggested such a panel may be something Samsung could supply to Apple for a rumored iPhone Fold.
