Shia LaBeouf has been accused of shouting gay slurs at two men and striking them with his closed fists during a Mardi Gras bar brawl in New Orleans early Tuesday morning. An official police incident report says he called the individuals "f—–s" multiple times and continued using slurs after officers arrived and arrested him.

The document quotes him as saying, "These f—–s put me in jail," and, "I’m a Catholic." One alleged victim told LaBeouf he did not want to fight; the report says LaBeouf punched the man and may have dislocated his nose. LaBeouf was arrested after getting beaten up during the brawl and was charged with two counts of simple battery.

He spent time in Orleans Parish Prison, and his representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Witnesses described chaotic behavior: a local bartender called him "terrorizing" New Orleans, and a doorman said he was "somewhat belligerent" when he approached the bar without a shirt or cash.
