Gamesradar highlights six new movies and shows to watch this weekend across Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Apple TV Plus and Hulu. On Netflix, The Rip — directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon alongside Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins and Kyle Chandler — is available from January 16; its official logline says the story follows Miami cops who find millions in cash and face eroding trust and outside threats.

HBO Max premieres A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on January 18, a Dunk and Egg adaptation set 100 years before Game of Thrones and 100 years after House of the Dragon that the outlet describes as taking a more comedic, adventure-focused tone. Hulu’s Tell Me Lies season 3 arrives on January 13, with Grace Van Patten and Jackson White returning and new cast members Iris Apatow and Costa D'Angelo; Per Deadline, Lucy and Stephen are back together but past actions and a new controversy force their friend group to confront secrets.

Apple TV Plus releases Hijack season 2 on January 14, bringing Idris Elba back as negotiator Sam Nelson in a story about a Berlin underground train taken hostage.
