Snoop Dogg posts support for daughter Cori after she announces death of baby girl
Snoop Dogg shared a message of support for his daughter, Cori Broadus, after she announced Saturday that her 10-month-old daughter, Codi, had died.
On Saturday the rapper posted a photo of himself with three of his four children — Cori, 26, and sons Corde Broadus, 31, and Cordell Broadus, 28 — captioning the image: “💖🙏🏾.” (Snoop is also father to Julian Broadus, 27.) Several fans responded to the post with condolences, writing comments such as “Sending my love to you all,” and “My prayers and thoughts goes out to you and your family 🤲🏾🕊️.”
Cori announced on Instagram Stories that “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” alongside a black-and-white photo of her cradling the infant in a hospital. Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also posted about their daughter, writing, “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux,” and adding, “But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you. My baby.”
Last month Cori shared that she had been allowed to bring Codi home after 10 months in the NICU. Cori had announced in February 2025 that she gave birth to Codi six months early via C-section and said doctors told her she had developed HELLP syndrome, a pregnancy complication that affects the liver and blood system.
The Instagram posts cited did not provide further details about the circumstances of Codi’s death, and no additional statements were included in those posts.
