Solana’s unstaking surged roughly 150%, with weekly net staking flows moving from about −449,819 SOL to −1,155,788 SOL in two weeks, increasing liquid supply. The token is trading inside a weakening descending channel, down nearly 30% over the past 30 days and hovering near $96.

Exchange net position change shows outflows weakened from around −2.25 million SOL to −1.66 million SOL between February 1 and February 3, a near 26% decline in outflows, indicating accumulation has slowed. At the same time, the one-day to one-week holder cohort rose from 3.51% to 5.06% between February 2 and February 3, suggesting rising speculative exposure.

Technically, failure to reclaim $98 keeps Solana exposed to downside targets near $67 and $65, with $65 aligning with a full 30% breakdown of the channel. On the upside, $98 followed by $117 are the key levels for recovery; unless long-term accumulation returns, downside risks remain elevated.
