Solasta 2 reveals all six classes and 13 subclasses ahead of March 12 early access
Tactical Adventures has revealed all six classes and 13 subclasses coming to Solasta 2 ahead of the game's early access launch on Steam for PC on March 12. The developer says Solasta 2 will continue the first game's faithful adaptation of tabletop rules while switching to the new D&D rules established in 2024, though players should expect some variation from strict tabletop mechanics.
The six classes and their revealed subclasses coming to early access are: Fighter (Aether Warden, Commander); Wizard (School of Ruin, Court Mage); Rogue (Shadowcaster, Scavenger); Paladin (Oath of Liberation, Oath of Judgment); Sorcerer (Star Child, Mana Painter); and Cleric (Life, Oblivion, Battle).
Tactical Adventures highlighted several subclass features: Fighter gains new abilities inspired by D&D 2024’s Weapon Masteries and Aether Warden appears to act as a half‑caster while Commander focuses on battle coordination; Wizard’s School of Ruin adds extra damaging spells while Court Mage is more defensive; Rogue’s Shadowcaster can add sneak attack to spells and melee, and Scavenger improves haggling and adds a once‑per‑turn slashing boost.
Other subclass notes include Paladin options that blind or restrain foes and add force damage, Sorcerer Star Child adding extra force damage when using Metamagic and Mana Painter remaining useful for multiclass builds, and Cleric domains focusing on healing (Life), recovery from near‑death (Oblivion) or boosting melee and force damage (Battle).
