Sonja Morgan says Dorinda Medley could still join The Golden Life
Sonja Morgan said she is optimistic that fellow Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley could still appear on the new E! series The Golden Life. When asked about Medley’s absence from the upcoming show, Morgan said, “It’s not over ’til the fat lady sings,” and added she “wouldn’t count Dorinda out.” Morgan suggested the network wanted a cast that “really are friends” and “loyal to each other,” and that producers are seeking “the satirical comedy that people could feel good about … Not mean comments that my husband’s family may not appreciate.” She referenced her late ex-husband, John Adams Morgan, and recalled digs Medley made on RHONY, saying, “We don’t need people taking their money out of the bank because I have a Holland Tunnel or because I’m f—king around in St.
Tropez because it’s not true.” Despite that criticism, Morgan insisted they are “always alright” and said she wouldn’t count out other RHONY alums such as Jules Wainstein, Aviva Drescher or Bethenny Frankel.
