SportsLine model favors Bears to cover at home against Rams
Cbssports: SportsLine's advanced computer model is backing the Chicago Bears (+3.5, 48.5) to cover at home against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET in the 2026 NFL divisional round.
The model, which simulates each game 10,000 times, projects Chicago to cover in well over 50% of simulations and shows the Over hitting in well over 50% as well. It notes the Rams were the lone Wild Card team that lost against the spread last week despite winning outright and that L.A. has dropped two straight ATS on the road; Chicago has just two ATS losses in its last nine games. The report also cites defensive trends: Los Angeles allowed 31 points in its Wild Card win over Carolina and has given up 28.3 points over its last seven games, while Chicago has yielded 16.3 points over its last four home contests.
The divisional round schedule continues Saturday and Sunday, with Broncos vs. Bills (+1) at 4:30 p.m. ET and Seahawks vs. 49ers (+7) at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, followed by Patriots vs. Texans at 3 p.m. ET and Rams vs. Bears at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. SportsLine says it has locked in picks and betting advice for every matchup and publishes its full recommendations on its site.
