NASA Starport is offering four-week Ballroom Dance classes at the Gilruth Center Energy Lab, aimed at beginners and dancers building a foundation in partner dancing.

The sessions run Monday evenings March 2–30 (no class March 9 for Spring Break) and focus on a different type of ballroom dance each week. Beginner instruction meets 6:45–7:45 PM and intermediate instruction meets 7:45–8:45 PM. A $75 registration fee applies.

Instructors are Zach Morris and Rachel Moran. The listing says Morris has 20 years of experience and 16 years of teaching, began at Fred Astaire Dance Studios, managed the Mark Ballas Dance Studio in California for three years, opened his own studio in 2021, and is a competitive dancer with several wins including Ballroom. Rachel Moran is described as a partner dance instructor and co‑founder of Zach and Rachel Dance Studio who emphasizes real‑world social dancing, strong fundamentals, and a welcoming, beginner‑friendly environment.

Organizers describe the classes as welcoming, easy to follow and focused on building confidence for social dancing. For questions or to register, contact Cyndi Kibby at 832-983-6454 or cynthia.j.kibby@nasa.gov.
