Ozempic has become a trend in Hollywood. While some stars, such as Kyle Richards, have denied using the Type II diabetes medication, others have been open about taking it or similar GLP‑1 drugs to lose weight. The injectable is administered once a week into the stomach, thigh or arm.

Amanda Bynes said in December 2025 she lost 28 pounds on Ozempic, dropping from 180 to 152 and calling a recent photo "inspiring." She previously told followers she had gained more than 20 pounds from depression in March 2024 and that she had abused Adderall earlier in her career to control her weight.

Vanessa Williams said she has used Mounjaro since turning 60 to combat menopausal weight gain, calling it "a game‑changer," and Andy Cohen revealed on his September 9, 2025 SiriusXM show that micro‑dosing a GLP‑1 helped him lose "a good chunk of weight," curb cravings and address arterial plaque and high blood pressure.
