SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite edges out Pro Wireless — but Pro wins on price
GamesRadar+ compared SteelSeries’ Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and the newer Arctis Nova Elite and concludes the Elite is the better headset overall, though the older Pro Wireless remains the better value for many buyers. The review notes the Pro Wireless has a lower MSRP ($379.99 / £329.99) versus the Elite’s $599.99 / £599.99 launch price, and that the Pro Wireless is frequently discounted — the White SKU was listed at $299 on Amazon at the time of writing — while the Elite is only a few months old and likely to hold its full price for now.
Design-wise the two headsets are very similar, but the Elite adds a Sage Green colorway, gold logo and hardware, and a “stunning, golden shimmery aura,” which the reviewer says gives it a more luxurious appearance compared with the Pro Wireless. Feature differences favor the Elite: both support wired, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless and have hot‑swappable batteries, but the Elite adds 40mm Brass Surround + Carbon Fiber drivers, Hi‑Res Audio support, connection to four sources (and mixing them simultaneously), and over 200 game audio presets via SteelSeries GG software versus the Pro Wireless’s 13 presets.
On performance the review found the Elite sounds best across platforms — especially on PC where Hi‑Res support can be used — while the Pro Wireless remains a strong performer with 40mm Neodymium drivers and continues to top many best‑headset lists.
