Stephen King-Approved 4-Part Horror Series Gets a Major Streaming Boost — Collider

MGM+ is carving a niche for horror in the streaming era, positioning itself as a destination for bone-chilling television. The service has become home to titles such as The Institute and Chapelwaite, both based on Stephen King novels, and to the mystery-horror series FROM.

FROM, created by John Griffin and led by Harold Perrineau, premiered in 2022 and has remained in MGM+'s Top 10 since its debut. Often compared to Lost for its sprawling mystery, the series has expanded internationally, appearing on platforms including MGM+, Catchplay, Starz and Paramount+ and reaching the Top 10 in countries such as France, Italy, Morocco and Australia, per FlixPatrol.

Stephen King has given the show his approval, and critics have responded with a 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes. MGM+ greenlit a fourth season after Season Three finished airing; filming wrapped in November 2025 and a trailer arrived in early February 2026.
