Movieweb reports that Stewjon, the planet George Lucas jokingly named as Obi‑Wan Kenobi's birthplace, was later referenced in official Star Wars canon.

At Celebration V in August 2010, Lucas was asked by comedian Jon Stewart what Obi‑Wan's home planet was called and replied almost immediately, "Stewjon," a playful riff on Stewart's name. Fans largely accepted the word, and the franchise has confirmed that both Alec Guinness's and Ewan McGregor's portrayals share the same homeworld.

After Disney purchased the franchise a couple of years later, Stewjon remained peripheral until 2017, when an issue of the Star Wars Adventures comic included a character named Tadd; writer Landry Q. Walker said on X that Tadd was originally a farmer from Stewjon. That comic reference is the only other mention of Stewjon since Lucas first said the name.
