Polygon reports that Twitch streamer Kingsman265 says he was removed from the $40,000 Marvel Rivals Deadpool Creator Cup after heated disputes with teammates over hero selection. Basim, the event coordinator, told viewers on his Twitch stream that the ejection was his decision, based on clips and VODs, and said players must "play by the rules" and show respect to teammates and staff.

The conflict centered on composition and individual hero preferences: Kingsman265 pressed teammates to change picks while continuing to play Magik, and one teammate, streamer zazzastack, preferred Black Widow and resisted off‑meta switches. Kingsman265 stopped practicing mid‑session, queued Ranked, and said in his video, "I need that money, I'm fucking broke," adding the prize would help pay for college; Basim argued the event was a creator cup rather than a professional tournament for pure competitiveness.

The decision touched off wider controversy in the community. Many teams in the event ran triple support compositions; zazzastack's team finished seventh of eight with one win, and she recorded a 177 ms ping during the tournament. Zazzastack says Kingsman265 edited his video and that viewers "are not fully informed," and she says she has since been inundated with hateful comments; Kingsman265 has asked followers not to harass her.
