Team America: World Police will stream on Paramount+ on Feb. 1, the report says.

The 2004 marionette satire was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the duo behind South Park, who voice most of the characters.

The official synopsis reads: When North Korean ruler Kim Jong-il (Trey Parker) orchestrates a global terrorist plot, it's up to the heavily armed marionettes of the highly specialized Team America unit to stop his dastardly scheme.

The film skewers American foreign policy and Hollywood involvement in global issues, taking shots at figures across the political spectrum; marionette depictions include Matt Damon, George Clooney, Sean Penn and others.

Team America is Certified Fresh at 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, with an 80% user rating. The film was released Oct. 15, 2004, runs 98 minutes and is directed by Trey Parker.

It joins Paramount+ on Feb. 1; the report does not specify any additional release or distribution plans beyond that date.
